What is St.John’s Youth Group? The youth group started about 5 years ago in North West Calgary. It is a great opportunity to meet other youth, while also becoming involved in activities that give you a chance to have fun with your peers, reach out to your community and grow spiritually.

What happens at youth group? Fun! Our activities range from bowling and miniature golf night to make your own pizza and games night. We always have a good time no matter what we are doing. We could be baking cookies to raise money for children in third world countries, or eating our own ice cream sundaes. It doesn’t matter; we’re always having a good time!

Who can join? The youth group is open to youth from grade 7 to grade 12/13. However, youth in 6th grade are allowed to join once they have been confirmed, otherwise all other youth must wait until they start grade 7.

What is my obligation? You have no obligation to attend a certain amount of groups. The only obligation you have is to rsvp to the e-invitation to the groups.

Who do I contact for more information? Please contact the parish office at 403-275-6500 or office@stjohnsparish.ca for further information.
